This issue publishes the novel by Yana Dubinyanskaya “A Garden of Stones”, short stories by Boris Yekimov “Common Life Stories”, novelette by Ulyana Gamayun “Hegel’s vacations” and also play for reading by Andrey Vasilevsky “Vitaly”. The poetry section consists of poems by Oleg Hlebnikov, Vyacheslav Kupriyanov, Natan Zlotnikov, Mikhail Synelnikov and also medieval Italian poet Cecco Angiolieri sonnets translated by Gennady Rusakov.
The sections offerings are following:
Heritage: “As if Eugeny Onegin or Taras Bulba would have telephoned” — the correspondence of Isaiah Berlin and Lidiya Chukovskaya.
Essais: “Laokoon City or Istanbul with Unseen Serpents” — Aleksandr Lyusy about an Russian image of Istanbul as an idea of East for Russia.
Comments: The article by Alla Latynina “Loyality testing” about the novel “AboutZerrow” (“Okolonolya”) by Natan Dubovitsky.
