This issue publishes: the short novel by Vladimir Berezin “A Tale of Rabelais or Sawmill Man”, the short story by Oleg Yermakov “An Eternal Soldier” from the book “Arithmetic of War”, the short novel by Hamid Ismaylov “Dead a Hero’s Life” translated from Uzbek by Rano Azimova and Vadim Muratkhanov, the short story by Anna Lavrinenko “The Lost One” and the short story by Yevgeny Alekhin “Nuclear Spring”. The poetry section consists of the new poems by Marina Kudimova, Sergey Zhadan in the translations from Ukrainian by Igor Belov, Boris Gorzev, Natalya Belchenko and Yury Kobrin.
The section offerings are as follows:
Studies of Our Days: “A Farewell to Homestead” by Boris Yekimov dedicated to the fortune of Russian villages at the present time.
Essais: “Outgoing Still Life” by Viktor Kuznetzov is about material culture objects which are out of use now and “Mp3” by Sergey Soloukh about audio books.
World of Arts: “Russian House in Murnau” by Vladimir Skrebnitsky about German period of the life of Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky.
Literature Critique: “About Pushkin, Kleist and underwritten └Dubrovsky”” by Andrey Bely about the reason the Pushkin’s novel was not finished.
