“It seems that Iran is now nearly the only country which is moving “against the current”, that is against globalism in its negative manifestations”. Thus is the opinion of the well-known culturologist and publicist Yourij Kagramanov who dwells upon the history and meaning of the 1979-th year democratic revolution in Iran.

The global crisis has brought the mankind’s attention to the questions of the society’s organization, security, cultural and spiritual identification which came into a sharp conflict with the idea and practice of globalization. This is the philosophical question of the search of the Sense in the senseless world. It seems, the author says, that this time the darkness we are wandering in may be illuminated not by “the light from the East”, but by another Project maturing in the very underbelly of the USA.
ANASTASIJA AFANASYEVA. “The World Needs Literature for Breathing”.
Poet A. Afanasyeva belongs to the generation which has been formed in the 1990-s. She resides in Kharkov, is a psychiatrist and writes in Russian. In her interview she is reasoning on the teachers and poets of her generation, about poetry and philosophy, about poetical languages and reading which becomes not only interesting but fashionable among the intellectual youth in Ukraine.
